You always have a choice when someone gives you work or makes you responsible for a job you don't want to do. The important question is: How do you get out of making that choice?

unanswer ➞ "No one told me."
unaccept ➞ "Not my job."
ungage (un-engage) ➞ "I don't know."
unavail ➞ "I'm busy."
